Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy for Life

This therapy blends Cognitive Therapy and Mindfulness. It is a secular and simplified approach combining ancient wisdom of Buddhism with modern Psychology. It spans 8 weeks where the participants learn to build present moment awareness and different helpful attitudinal qualities. The learning is experiential and the participants learn from the teacher, the course, other participants as they build their own practice.

A natural tendency which shows up during meditation practice is the urge to appraise our current state of doing and being (“Am I doing this right, “This is difficult” “I will never get this”).

In our lives we follow a simple rule -- doing things to obtain results.
