I have had the opportunity to complete my education from the Queen Mary’s University of London and University of Oxford and learned from leading practitioners in the field and subject. These years spent in learning state-of-the-art Psycho-therapies has provided me with a unique perspective to therapy, growth, healing and meaning. It has always been a dream of mine to bring back these resources to my country and help my people by attaining the best there is.
Different from a typical retreat where peace is sought in a place away from home, in MBCT-L clients are in their usual environment and space with their day-to-day stressors by their side. This approach is thus more challenging and impactful. Essentially MBCT is a group-based therapy which blends Cognitive Therapy, Mindfulness and the ancient wisdom of Buddhist philosophy into our everyday lives. It is a secular and simplified approach framed to build from the basics preparing you to get into deeper mindfulness and meditation practices! In the span of 8 weeks clients learn to build present moment awareness and rewire their brains to develop specific qualities which helps them become more mindful
In MBCT-L, the learning is experiential and the participants learn from the teacher, the course and the other participants as they build their own practice.

As an alumnus of University of Greenwich and Queen Mary’s university of London, I have had the opportunity to learn and research under the guidance of leading practitioners and experts in the field. I have learned state-of-the-art therapies from leading pioneers like Tien Kuei, Marrion Furr, Andy Phee offered by University of Oxford. These formative years were spent on understanding the nuances of this psychology, on engaging in experiential learning by undergoing the therapeutic process myself under the guidance of the best in the field. As Irvin Yalom rightfully said, “To fully relate to another, one must first relate to oneself”. It has chiselled my therapeutic skills and provided me with a unique perspective to therapy, growth, healing and meaning.
Now, I am getting the opportunity to return to my home-land and help my people with the resources I have gained in all these years. Outside of work, I am a self-proclaimed poet and a painter.
I embody a person-centred approach, and follow scientific methods when useful and drop them and attain a psychospiritual stance according to the needs of my client. My personality is warm and inviting which helps me build a safe cocoon for my client. As a therapist, I view myself as a fellow traveller helping another traveller, trying to find their way.
I embody a person-centred approach, guided by the client’s needs and wants in life. I am flexible and open which allows me to follow scientific traditions when useful and drop them as required by the client. I use warmth and an inviting presence to build a safe cocoon for my client where they can make mistakes, learn and grow. Being a FAP therapist, I bring my authentic self in the therapy room and focus on building a genuine therapeutic relationship.
