Soumya Therapy

Healing Begins with Being Truly Seen

A safe and compassionate therapeutic space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Through evidence-based psychotherapy and a genuine human connection, we work together toward healing, growth, and a more meaningful life.

About Soumya

"To fully relate to another, one must first relate to oneself."

I am an alumnus of the University of Greenwich and Queen Mary University of London, where I had the opportunity to learn and research under the guidance of leading practitioners in psychotherapy. During my training, I studied advanced therapeutic approaches developed by pioneers such as Tien Kuei, Marrion Furr, and Andy Phee through programmes offered by the University of Oxford.

Contemporary Retreat

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy for Life

Different from a typical retreat where peace is sought in a place away from home, in MBCT-L clients are in their usual environment and space with their day-to-day stressors by their side.

  • Non-Judging

A natural tendency which shows up during meditation practice is the urge to appraise our current state of doing and being (“Am I doing this right, “This is difficult” “I will never get this”).

  • Patience

In our lives we follow a simple rule -- doing things to obtain results.

  • Beginner’s Mind

We tend to enter into the mindfulness space with all our historical learning

  • Trust

Since childhood we learn to look for answers and guidance from outside which is helpful in certain areas of our life.
